Following the death of Rev. Sutton in 1967, Rev. B.B. Bowens became the pastor and implemented crucial improvements, such as additional restrooms, the Fellowship Hall, The Pastor's Office, water fountains, a P.A. system, and choir stands. Rev. Bowens also ordained several deacons during his tenure. In the years 1978 to 1990, the church was blessed with dedicated shepherds, including Rev. Coleman, Rev. J.W. Gibbons, Rev. Jonathan Carter, and Rev. Terrance Curtis. From 1990 to 1999, under the leadership of Rev. L.W. Booker, the church underwent significant changes, meeting every Sunday, incorporating, purchasing land for a new edifice, acquiring a bus, and upgrading the AC system. Numerical growth marked this period.

From 1999 to 2007, Rev. Norwert Hills, Jr., and Rev. Reginald Litman served as pastors, with Rev. Litman ordaining several deacons in 2003. After Rev. Litman's resignation, Pastor Eddie L. Story, Jr. led the congregation from August 2007 to October 2012. Following Pastor Story, Minister Stevie Dennis served as Interim Pastor from October 2012 to September 2014, with Min. Katherine Chunn and Min. Quinnton Whatley presiding.

On September 7, 2014, Pastor Aaron Jones, III, joined Calvary, bringing a transformative vision focused on Worship, Outreach, Relationship, and Discipleship (W.O.R.D.). Under Pastor Jones's leadership, Calvary became a vibrant place for all generations. Pastor Jones departed on June 8, 2017, and Min. Katherine Chunn continued to preside over the Mount Calvary family.
